The new Ron Paul book, "The Revolution: A Manifesto" comes out in a couple of days. There is a six page excerpt online here
I confess I did not know what to expect with this book. I was a huge Paul supporter during the primary season and remain so today, but generally campaign bios are awful regardless of the author or his views. While I have only read six pages of the book, this book appears to be the exception to the rule.
Yes it is foolish for a campaign bio to come out AFTER the bulk of the primaries. The Paul campaign was run horribly, we know that. But the content of this book looks to be a nice blend of personal experience, American political history and some atypical analysis from an elected representative. I can honestly say that this looks like another in a long line of must read books to come out this year.

You'll be pleasantly surprised by the book. The timing is unfortunate, but such are the vagaries of the publishing industry. In any event, bringing it out now will help to get across the point that Ron Paul is working on considerably longer-term goals than just the 2008 campaign, although the book doesn't get too explicit about what's coming in the future.
The opening pages are way better than could reasonably have been expected.
I wish I could have snagged an Advance Reader Copy of this, but it looks to be worth the wait.
